Monday, Sept. 17, by Lauren O.

Hey, readers!
Today, Mrs. Troester’s English class talked about our writing exchange that we do between UNL (University of Nebraska at Lincoln), Lincoln High, and my school.  We went over some of the guidelines, and even got our first post assignment.

Now, this post may sound like I’m always in English class, but that’s not at all true.  We did regular math things in math class (shocking, right?), discussed biotic and abiotic factors in science, and I’m pretty sure we just did our “flight simulation” in geography, but I missed most of that class.
In reading with Mrs. Troester, we looked over our bookmarks for the book, The Outsiders,  and put people in our fishbowl.  Not literally, we just make the selected people sit in the middle of the room and go over their summarizer, questioner, literary luminary, or connector sheets.

We recorded our marching show in band, and sang in choir (obviously), and in guidance we had to preform some skits.  Ours consisted of us sitting and reading aloud in monotone.  Boring, right?
That gives you a basic run-down of my typical day here at OHS.
Until my next post..... Crazy Girl (Lauren)
