English Work |
Today in Mr. Hesse’s learned some
geography. We read two sections in the book and answered three questions. It
isn’t that hard so we had time to get it done in class. The next class that I
had was the all-famous English! We started of with our Hot Tips # 8. Hot tips
are to help us for when the state wide riding test comes. Also in English we
revised our important place description. We first looked over it ourselves then
we had a partner peer review. My partner was Andrea; she is a great writer and
friend. Then we headed off to science everyone worked on their Newton’s Laws of
motion demonstration videos. Annie and I worked together on it and we exported
and sent them to our teacher, Mr. Morrow. After science some of us went to
reading. We studied our vocabulary lesson for the week, and then we started in
our reading books. In them we are reading a play that was made from
Anne
Frank’s Diary. In class I read Meip’s (pronounced: meep) part. In study
hall we worked on our homework or IXL for math. In Math we learned about
rotations with shapes. In Business Trends we learned about people that are
entrepreneurs in our town. Then to end the day we played table tennis, pickle
ball, circuits, or went to the weight room. I played table tennis which was so
much fun! Well I hope that you had an eventful like the O’Neill eighth graders
did.
